Pune: :

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has accused Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, of spreading misleading views, which are empowering forces of anarchy in the country.

Fadnavis made these remarks during a meeting with senior journalist and political analyst Bhau Torsekar and Jaipur Dialogue head Sanjay Dixit at the ‘Jaipur Dialogue’ Deccan Summit event. During this meeting, Fadnavis expressed strong disapproval of Rahul Gandhi’s statements.

Recently, Rahul Gandhi, in a press conference, referred to an increase of 4 million voters in the Maharashtra Assembly elections as “vote engineering” by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Fadnavis responded to this accusation.

Fadnavis said, “If Rahul Gandhi analyzes the reasons for his party’s defeat, it could save the Congress, but if he keeps looking for excuses, Congress’s position will worsen in the future.” He also reminded him of the significant vote difference between the Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi in the Assembly elections, which was nearly one crore votes.

Fadnavis further said, “Rahul Gandhi has always been a confused leader. He does not realize that the public has lost trust in him. His views will remain the same as long as he holds press conferences with leaders like Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut. These misleading views are giving strength to anarchists. Negative propaganda is being spread about constitutional institutions, which is leading to an alliance of 180 anarchist groups. Rahul Gandhi’s misleading statements are empowering them.”

In the Lok Sabha elections, BJP’s battle was with anarchist organizations that had spread several “fake narratives.” However, during the Assembly elections, measures were taken by the RSS family to counter such propaganda, and they succeeded in achieving good results with the support of various RSS organizations.

Fadnavis Criticizes the Media

Fadnavis also criticized the media, stating, “Reports about Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s alleged displeasure have become a part of entertainment, with no truth in them. Eknath Shinde is a serious leader, and there have been attempts to spread false news about his dissatisfaction.” He also condemned the lack of creativity in the media and criticized them for not providing accurate news based on information.

Fadnavis Reveals Details About the Shared Chief Minister Position

Fadnavis elaborated on the 18-month shared Chief Minister position between BJP and Shiv Sena, claiming that there was already an election-time pact between Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena’s then-leader Uddhav Thackeray.

Jaipur Dialogue – A Platform for National Ideologies

Fadnavis praised the work of Jaipur Dialogue for presenting national ideologies on an important platform and for making hidden historical facts accessible to the new generation. He assured continuous support for the Jaipur Dialogue.
