Pune, : Air Marshal Vijay Kumar Garg, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command, IAF and Mrs. Ritu Garg, President Air Force Families Welfare Association (Regional) visited Base Repair Depot Pune from 04 to 06 July 2024. They were received by Air Commodore AP Saraph, Air Officer Commanding and Mrs. Pranoti Saraph, President Air Force Families Welfare Association (Local).
The Air Marshal was briefed about the crucial role played by the Depot in supporting and maintaining various legacy as well as latest ground support and avionics systems. He was also briefed about various repair, overhaul and indigenization2024 projects being undertaken by the Depot. While applauding the efforts, the Air Marshal emphasized on the need to strategize and adopt measures targeted at refining various processes at the Depot. He congratulated the Depot personnel for the excellent work being done towards self-reliance and contribution done in safeguarding the Indian Air Space.
Mrs. Ritu Garg, President AFFWA (R), HQ MC, visited the Therapy Centre for the specially abled children at the Station Medicare Centre. During her interactions with Sanginis, she urged them to take advantage of the various skill development ventures run by AFFWA.
